Time to Be Happy (Frans Buyens, 1982)

A man aged 40 becomes unemployed - more free time, but bad news for his relationship with his middle-class mistress. He becomes friends with an exhuberant but fragile young girl who has problems with her parents, and uses irony as a weapon in his fight aiganst his new status.

Unemployment viewed with humor, but also a film about personal integrity.
